Polish Art Show - July 18th - 26th

The 3rd Annual Polish Art Show will exhibit artwork of various Polish artists and of Polish subject matter. Come and meet the artists and learn about the inspiration behind the work.

Where: Artspoken Gallery & Studios at 1507 W Koening Lane
Opening Reception: July 18, 7:00-9:00 pm - Light refreshments will be served.
The gallery will be open for viewing between 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm on the following dates:

Polish Cooking Classes - Potato Pancakes & Cheesecake - July 26th

Polish Cooking Classes are back by popular demand!

Here's your chance to learn how to cook Polish Potato Pancakes and Cheesecake. An experienced chef will guide you step by step as you learn two great new recipies!

When: July 26th, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Cost: $20 per person

400th Anniversary of American Polonia Convention - Houston - October 25-26

Jamestown: The Birth of American Polonia

Mark your calendars! The Texas Division of the Polish American Congress is planning to hold a two day convention in Houston to celebrate the 400 year anniversary of Polish immigration to the USA.

When: Oct 25th - 26th, 2008
Location: The Marriot Hotel in Sugarland, Texas.
Topics covered will include: the History of Polish Emigration to the United States, Music Art and Polish Culture in North America, and the Future of Polish Emigrants
The evening will include: Cocktail Hour, Dinner and Award Ceremony, and Music and Dance
